My computer has broken down and I have lost your product. What are my options?

Please go the After-Purchase page in order to get your order history and your serial number. Then download the version that you have purchased from the download page and reinstall it. If the original version that you have purchased does not work on your new computer, please contact us for an upgrade.

My serial number is not recognized. I am told that it is from an older version or that I cannot activate. What's up?

In general the message about an old version may appear when you have entered the serial number by typing it and there was a typo. The easiest way to enter the serial number is to copy and paste it from the confirmation email (copy the number that appears after " Serial Number:" and paste in the registration dialog). The message about not being able to activate may also appear from a typo or if you attempt to activate very shortly after your purchase on the web store. In this case you may want to retry at least one hour after the purchase so that all servers are properly updated. If the software still does not activate after one hour you can do a manual activation at the eSellerate Support Page.

I have used the demo and I want to purchase the product. Do I need to download again?

No. You can register your demo by clicking on the "Purchase" button. This will allow you to register the demo automatically. Alternatively, you may go to the web store, purchase the product and then enter, in the demo version, the code that you have received by email after your purchase. You do this by clicking on the "Enter Code" button in the registration dialog.

Do your products work on the Macintosh computers with the Intel processors?

Yes. Our products work on the Macintosh computers with the Intel processors. Currently, our products work with the Rosetta layer; we do not provide universal binary. Up until now we have focused on improving the quality of our converters in order to convert all aspects of the original files and on providing a timely conversion for docx to all our customers. This focus was more important for our customers than increasing the speed of the conversion for the new Intel processors. As we have moved in the past our code from Mac OS 9 to Mac OS X we will be working on moving our code to universal binary as well.

Do your products still work on Mac OS 9?

Yes. All our products have at least one version still working on Mac OS 9. In general, when moving to Mac OS X customers will need to upgrade their product to a new version. If the OS 9 version is the current version available on OS X then the upgrade is free.

Can I modify the content of documents with your applications?

No. Our applications are viewers and converters and do not allow editing or sorting of the original files. However you can use our products to convert the original files to formats which can be opened by applications with editing capabilities. I have downloaded a demo and nothing happened. What should I do?

Check the installation instructions in the "Read me" file which comes with the download. Alternatively go to the installation section of the FAQ of the product you have downloaded.

Do I need a serial number to run the demo?

You do not need a serial number to run a demo.

If you have downloaded the demo program of icWord and installed it with the installer the first screen that appears when you run the program should have four buttons:

  • Purchase: clicking on this button will take you to the esellerate store in order to purchase and register the program and will ask your credit card.
  • Enter Code: click on this button to enter the registration code that you should have received by email after purchasing the program on the esellerate on-line store.
  • Use as demo: becomes enabled only when the demo timer has finished its operation (about 15 seconds). When the demo button is highlighted, you may click on it to use the demo freely. The icWord demo version works for 30 days. The icXL demo shows you part of the original spreadsheet.
  • Cancel

If you have downloaded the demo program of docXConverter or icXL and installed it with the installer when you run the program and perform a conversion you will have a dialog with four buttons:

  • Purchase: clicking on this button will take you to the esellerate store in order to purchase and register the program and will ask your credit card.
  • Enter Code: click on this button to enter the registration code that you should have received by email after purchasing the program on the esellerate on-line store.
  • Continue: click on this button to perform the conversion. The demo version converts or show a part of the original file.
  • Cancel

If you have downloaded a 30-day demo for the first time, and for some unknown reason the demo gives a message that it has expired even though you have never run it, please send us an email and we will give you a temporary serial number.

What is the status of my order?

What you have bought is a product with "digital delivery". This means that you need to download the product by yourself. Please download the appropriate demo from our site and register it with the registration code that you should have received by email after your purchase. If you need a CD version of our product, there is an additional ten dollars fee for handling and shipping. Please contact us by email and we will mail you a CD.
