How to convert a docx file to word processors other then Word?

Not all word processors are created equal, meaning that not all of them have the same feature set. In fact only a few have the same feature set as Word. Some word processors are oriented toward a specific sector (academic, multi-lingual etc...) and some are very primitive and are supplied for free as part of the operating system. However, almost all word processors are able to read RTF files; therefore all of them will be able to read docx files with the help of docXConverter. Basically, if you want any word processor to open a docx file, all you need to do is to open the preferences window of docXConverter and designate it as the application of choice to open the files created by docXConverter.
