It is possible to translate from Word to and from AppleWorks with two different technologies: MacLink Plus/AppleWorks or icWord/OneClickConvert.
Programs using both technologies do a decent job in translating most common text styles (bold, underline and italic) and paragraph attributes (tabs, justification and line spacing).
However, there are wide differences with translation of special elements like tables, graphics, variables or text boxes.
